For the most part, yes - around 90% of our work is within BioTech, HealthTech and MedTech. That said, we do work outside this space where the right opportunity or relationship calls for it.
-
Both. Permanent roles make up the majority of what we do, but we're equally comfortable supporting contract and interim assignments.
-
Primarily, yes - but we also work with global clients and are always happy to help where we can, wherever you're based.
-
No. Our service is completely free for candidates, always.

We'll book in a discovery call to properly understand your background, skills, experience and career aspirations. This helps us match you against current opportunities - and keep you in mind for future ones too.

For Clients (Companies)
-
We invest time upfront to properly understand your business and the opportunity at hand. Once we're equipped with that knowledge, we build a recruitment structure that gives you clarity and confidence - on the market, timeframes, and any challenges that might call for flexibility. We work with complete transparency from the start, so nothing is a surprise further down the line.
-
We work across contingent, exclusive and retained assignments, with competitive rates discussed directly when we meet.
-
This depends on the make-up of the role - we always start by understanding what's held things back so far, and whether any adjustments are needed. With commitment and buy-in from clients, we can place candidates in as little as 7–10 days.
-
Yes. In the rare event a hire doesn't work out, we offer a 3-month guarantee period for your peace of mind.
-
We've invested significant time building a rich database of candidates, giving us real insight into their skills, experience and motivations. Alongside this, we're proactive on LinkedIn with premium licenses and have invested heavily in Agentic AI CRM systems, giving us access to over 8.5 million professionals globally - with the ability to source in minutes, not weeks. We also draw on our referral network of candidates we already work with.
Our vetting process is rigorous, with no corners cut. When a client receives a CV from Kura, the expectation is simple: meet this candidate - because of the trust and delivery we've built.
-
We're passionate and ethical about what we do. We care about the industry and the impact we make - and we double down on that through our Healthcare Builders initiative, creating informative, in-person collaboration spaces where people can connect and learn from their peers, as well as shining a spotlight on innovation through our podcast series.
